inspiration : Yoshi Yamagata

after a long summertime finally, at home on autumn
many ideas are flying in the air ...things&must-to-do list  at door
and 'indian summer' just around the corner
with this mood, i've just run into an old friend from my inspiration data:
here he is!   Yoshi Yamagata
one of his unforgetable work in 2007 that still open up new vistas and keeps warm
just like our homes

caribbean urban colors

having material substance and texture, using cultural patterns and colors, being nourished by endemic habitat, environment and history.... basic elements of architecture... what i see in bonaire just a simple and modest   collective urban act !   if there is one thing that all most impressive places in the world has in common, i think this is   'regional identity'

how to make a medieval party invitation

all my life i have played adventure games and solved the mysteries of the templar knights
preparing a 'princesses&knights' party was like starting to play an eagerly anticipated game
so worth to be sleepless!
Step 1 : RESEARCH

creating the invitation with coat of arms, manuscripts, banners etc.

Step 2 : MATERIALS
enough research, going outside! finding some wooden sticks & duck feathers.
i try the most natural & original method.. thats the way i like

Step 3 : MUST LOOK AGED
used the natural dye to make paper look old.. by TEA

for real yellowish result tea must be warm & fresh btw
aaand making some spontaneous spots

Step 4 : SEALED YOUR MEDIEVAL LETTERTYPE
writing with the duck feather like the medieval calligraphers

the most fun part of the process..
attaching wooden sticks with glue gun, for cachet need the primary way; sealing wax!

Happy End!
i feel like a proud Mama-Knight,
almost same feeling when i finished the game 'Gabriel Knight'
if you ever played GK, you know what i mean :)
