goodbye to the indian summer
a simple activity to do with your toddler
hand picked leaves, nuts, forest fruits, pine cones etc.

than making a "fall" wall art
simply plaster the colorful leaves and our concept word,
only 4 letters how easy to spell together
also extra benefit for your home... the rest is decoration for candles

Federschmuck
almost everyday I bring home one and collecting all these feathers for several reasons...
writing cards with feathers is really fun and special or I make them bookmarks mostly
most of them belongs to ducks, but if I am really really lucky,
I find bird feathers of our fauna and run back home like a child.
where are my hats?
than I feel myself like a merry Trachtler with a glorious Gamsbart
where is my beer?
Prost!
Prost!

simple flower arrangement
today's very easy flower design from an ex-florist
like I always did; another bouquet was partitioned by me
especially when they get older, it's fun to play around
first branches....give it the form of a tree....than water and we cut flowers of several different sizes
some of them are going to swim on the surface of water inside the vase
the trick is we use here only a few flowers....always,
Less is more!

boarding pass on board
i met with Feng Shui in 1998, because of the amazing Master Yap Cheng Hai.....mesmerized...
while decorating, i always derive benefit from the leading lights
and felicitous guidance of Feng Shui
thousands of collected boarding passes.....attached on the big board
which is covered by corrugated city maps
and taking place on the travel corner of house
may the force be with you!

a felt playhouse
i had mentioned before about my things-to-do-list on september,
since than i was working on this project...before Sinterklaas, finally i finished last day.
if we doesn't count the shopping day for felt and little stuff,
you can easily complete that big playhouse in 3 days, i think....i have great tips!
first of all, we will not sew....we will use the famous glue-gun.
secondly materials from home....like useless baby box, old toys or bed-tent from ikea
which was my husband's brilliant idea, i was seriously thinking how to cover the playhouse, one day he brought that blue sky...another genius idea came from my mother :
the base fabric, actually is a tv-blanket, big enough for to circle the box. so done! started with the research and decided the concept: Gruffalo our daughter's favorite book.
than i made a list about animals etc.....and a simple drawing of design
after an another list about colors for felts. i only used templates for
Gruffalo, birds and squirrel, so you can quickly find and print from internet

tree branches design
i decided to use our last year's xmas-tree for hall decoration.....permanently!
last christmas, our baby was six months old and i had not time enough for big preparation
it was useful anyway, enjoyed a lot while hanging cookies, her favorite toys on the branches
i love christmas spirit, who doesn't... this year, i have some other plans for xmas tree
but i don't wanna give up my last year design...so its going to embellish our hall now
and another nice thing is : we can change the theme whenever we want
we can hang our posts, keys, our baby's first drawings or cards & eggs at easter time...
unlimited!

rural shop signs
foie gras..wine..cheeses..croissant au beurre..quinqui noix..confiture figue...
photo tours, brocante tours, day markets, night markets, concerts...
swinging from the one to another beautiful medieval village...
after a real-rural life in the french province, escapade to the chateau hotels...
started with Cezanne ended with Monet, meanwhile Asterix, Le Corbusier & a lot of Jean D'arc
from southwest all the way to north, very upside down in big France
apparently, i had been a little bit heads-up-in-the-air

inspiration : Yoshi Yamagata
after a long summertime finally, at home on autumn
many ideas are flying in the air ...things&must-to-do list at door
and 'indian summer' just around the corner
with this mood, i've just run into an old friend from my inspiration data:
here he is! Yoshi Yamagata
one of his unforgetable work in 2007 that still open up new vistas and keeps warm
just like our homes

caribbean urban colors
having material substance and texture, using cultural patterns and colors, being nourished by endemic habitat, environment and history.... basic elements of architecture... what i see in bonaire just a simple and modest collective urban act ! if there is one thing that all most impressive places in the world has in common, i think this is 'regional identity'
